Suunto Core Light Black Review December 31, 2009
Reviewer: Anonymous Person
I do many alpine climbs and the Suunto Core fits the bill perfectly.  The ABC data of the Suunto is all I need to ensure I have a successful climb.  I have read reviews about the Suunto Core being difficult to use and having a steep learning curve but for what I do I have found the features quite intuitive.

I have been waiting for my new Suunto Core to show up since it has been on backorder for about a month.  The Suunto Core is packed with features and it is very well designed and it flexible enough that I don’t feel like my movement is restricted at all while climbing.  I have had a couple of other outdoor inspired watches and the Suunto Core is the best of the bunch.

Suunto Watches have always been the standard for altimeter watches.  Suunto Watches are known as a must have piece of equipment for anyone that spends a lot of time in the woods but until the introduction of the Suunto Core they lacked a certain level of style that would allow you to wear the Suunto Core as your everyday watch.  The Suunto Core is loaded with all of the features you would expect from Suunto, the is also stylish and a great looking watch.  If you are shopping around for a new altimeter that is packed withfeatures you should definitely take a look the Suunto Core.  The Suunto Color comes in a bunch of styles and I bought on the Military Inspired All Black Core.

I wanted to buy the Suunto Core because Suunto Watches are known for having leading edge Altimeter and Compass functionality.  I quickly found out why the Suunto Core is the leading adventure watch on the market.  The Barometer of the Suunto Core has a built in storm monitor that performs perfectly which is absolutely amazing.  The Suunto Core can also tells you with correct sunrise and sunset times in any time zone on the planet.  Despite some of the other Suunto Core customer reviews I have read I believe the Suunto Core to be easy to use and fairly straight forward to use even without spending a ton of time reviewing.

Suunto Core Review September 1, 2009

I think the Suunto Core is perfect for a person who does short alpine climbs: The Suunto altimeter, Suunto barometer and Suunto thermometer give me all the data I need. The alarm clock function on the Suunto Core also wakes me up on time so enough said in by book.. The backlight is just enough and keeps it fuctional at night. For me, the Suunto Core was easy enough to toggle and intuitively figure out how to change settings without reading the owner's manual!

Suunto Core Review May 28, 2009

So far so good with my Suunto Core.  This Suunto has been great to me and is a definitely an upgrade from my old Suunto Vector.  I was happy to learn that you can swap the battery on the Suunto Core without taking it into an Authorized Suunto dealer which is a really nice feature.  It would have been nice if Suunto included a heart rate monitor on this watch but other than that I am happy.
